Quality guarantee
Certificate of Originality
Unique certificate
As the only vendor, we are offering the Certificate of Originality for most of the products sold by us.
Why do we provide a Certificate of Originality?
We are able to provide this certificate because with the vast majority of products we work exclusively and directly with manufacturers and without any intermediaries (check the Certificate icon displayed with a given product). Thus, we are able to guarantee 100% originality of the entire purchased product.
Therefore, the Certificate guarantees not only the genuine nature, originality and quality craftsmanship of the official manufacturer, but it also guarantees the provision of warranty and post-warranty service at our service shops and certified partners.
- 100% originality
- Guaranteed origin
- Official manufacturer
- Guaranteed warranty
Originality and quality
Why is it important?
This is important because the present personal electromobility market is flooded with cheap copies, as well as original scooter bodies fitted with non-genuine electronic components and batteries. These make up the biggest portion of the product price and, therefore, the counterfeiters often replace them with non-original parts and low-quality batteries. This results in not only disappointed users, lower quality, shorter range and higher failure rate, but in certain cases in significantly lower mechanical safety and poorer safety when charging and operating the batteries. Unlike a "fake" T-shirt or watch, a so-called "fake" scooter can not be considered harmless and may significantly deteriorate user's product experience. Thanks to our Certificate of Originality, you do not have to worry about this when buying from us or our certified partners who will provide you with the certificate.
If you decide to buy from some other vendor or a non-certified seller, before making your purchase, persistently ask for the information about the product's origin, which certificates it comes with (Certificate of Originality, CE, EC Declaration of Conformity, Material Safety Data Sheet for the battery) and what is your guarantee that all parts are genuine, including the battery. For comparison, the battery alone can make up more than half the price of a product. A battery made of LG or SAMSUNG cells may cost up to 2-3 times more than a no-name battery from China. Therefore, intermediaries used by many vendors to purchase the goods may find counterfeiting very profitable, up to hundreds of euros per each counterfeit unit. They do not just put a fake logo on the product, they also counterfeit its most expensive components. You may also ask them whether they provide an electronic service logbook that, along with the Certificate of Originality, significantly increases the sales value of the product, if you decide to sell it later.
By purchasing original products from official partners, customers have warranty and service guaranteed.
The holder of the Certificate of Originality has a guaranteed origin of the goods and, should a non-genuine origin be proven, such holder may choose between a refund or having any non-genuine goods replaced with genuine merchandise.
Electronic Service Logbook
An electronic service logbook linked to the current owner is always created for a product coming with a Certificate. We guarantee that with any servicing at our service shop or at our certified partners, the product ownership will always be checked and, in case of suspected theft, the police will be contacted. We are actively combating thieves as stolen goods need post-warranty service as well, which is why sooner or later we are able to identify thieves. Likewise, we make life very difficult for these thieves by refusing to sell any replacement chargers or certain spare parts without proof of scooter ownership. This leaves them unable to charge the stolen goods and, eventually, they lose motivation to steal.

Why don't XIAOMI scooters sold by us come with a Certificate of Originality?
XIAOMI is a very specific brand, with which it is difficult, or close to impossible, to order goods guaranteed directly by the manufacturer. The official XIAOMI distributor offers original scooters to vendors at higher wholesale prices than are the prices, for which most e-shops sell these scooters to end customers. If this was the case, all e-shops should be losing 40 to 80 euros on each scooter sold. The reason for this situation is that the XIAOMI brand is unable to prevent the counterfeiting of its products and also the illegal imports of more or less original and quality copies of its scooters from China.
However, since this is a "famous" scooter, we consider it a mistake not to offer it in our stores, despite personally not being convinced that it is an ideal choice for the long-term use. Nevertheless, it may not necessarily be a bad choice for customers for whom the price is very important.
The XIAOMI scooters sold by us, including spare parts, come from EW Distribution s.r.o. company. We do not hide our suppliers, so we see no reason to do so in this case. Based on our experience, those are products that are either of original quality or indistinguishable from original quality products and all come with full warranty and post-warranty servicing, which was the reason why we decided to cooperate with EW Distribution s.r.o. However, since we are not purchasing directly from the manufacturer, as is the case with other brands, we only provide an electronic service logbook for these scooters and not the Certificate of Originality.
If you decide to buy a XIAOMI scooter in some other e-shop or store, we strongly recommend that you ask for information about the product's origin, which certificates it comes with (CE, EC Declaration of Conformity, Material Safety Data Sheet for the battery) and what is your guarantee that all parts are genuine, including the battery. For comparison, in case of XIAOMI – a battery alone makes up nearly half the scooter price and a battery made of high-quality cells may cost up to 2-3 times more than a no-name low-capacity battery from China. Therefore, counterfeiting XIAOMI scooters in particular may be very profitable for intermediaries that are used by many vendors to purchase the goods, up to hundred euros on each counterfeit unit. You may also ask those other vendors whether they provide an electronic service logbook, which significantly increases the sales value of a product when you decide to sell it later and replace it with a better model.
If they refuse to tell you whom they bought the scooter from, or refuse to present you with the said certificates, it may (but does not have to) be a sign that the product is not of original quality. This then often results in not only disappointed users, lower quality, shorter range and higher failure rate, but in certain cases in significantly poorer mechanical safety and battery charging and operating safety. Unlike a "fake" T-shirt or watch, a so-called "fake" scooter can not be considered harmless and may significantly deteriorate user's product experience.
