Power

When it comes to ZERO 11X, performance comes definitely first. On paper, the specs are simply stunning by themselves. Still, nothing beats the actual feeling of riding this scooter, activating both motors and forcing more than 40 A at 72 V to flow through them. The scooter, if we can in fact still call it a scooter, literally catapults you to over 60 km/h in a few seconds and keeps accelerating until reaching about 95 km/h. The total power reaches 6400 W and is transmitted through two motors, one in the front wheel and the other in the rear wheel. Thanks to its 2x2 drive, the scooter can master every situation, including difficult terrain. The 11X is the strongest and toughest model made by ZERO and is guaranteed not to disappoint your expectations. This truly isn’t a machine for everyone. Not all riders can handle it. However, if you are a true scooter enthusiast, ZERO 11X is everything you may wish for. It is a tough toy for those who are not only looking for a means of transport but also for excitement and joy of extreme.

Range

The range is taken care of by a 32 Ah battery containing LG cells, providing huge power thanks to 72 V voltage. The total energy stored in this battery reaches astonishing 2304 Wh, making ZERO 11X the model with the largest battery in our portfolio. The 6400 W power simply necessitates a powerful battery. The manufacturer did not spare money on it and equipped this scooter with high-quality cells made by LG. If you ride sensibly in ECO mode on a single engine, you may expect a range of up to 150 km. But should you decide to go extreme and squeeze “everything it can do” out of this scooter, you would still enjoy a range of about 50 km, even in more difficult terrain. This means that with this model you definitely do not have to worry about your range, which is sufficient even for long routes. When charging the scooter, you must expect up to 15-20 hours until full charge. However, charging time can be cut in half as the 11X model allows using two chargers at the same time.

Comfort

The 11X has two huge hydraulic shock absorbers combined with a spring (165 mm), which make it resemble a motorcycle rather than a scooter. Considering its off-road capabilities and huge weight, we must say that the scooter’s basic setup is a bit stiffer than one might expect. However, you will appreciate this setup when riding fast, at which point a stiffer setting comes as an advantage with the chassis not hitting the end stops, thus contributing both to your comfort and safety. This is not an unpleasant compromise tough, as the chassis comes with adjustable stiffness, meaning you can adjust it to your weight and riding style. The ability to adjust chassis stiffness is fantastic because it also changes the ground clearance based on the use – higher ground clearance in off-road conditions, lower and more comfortable clearance when on the road. Contributing to your comfort are the ergonomic handlebars with height adjustable by turning, which allows finding a comfortable and safe riding position.

With a machine traveling at almost 100 km/h, the safety issue is relevant. The 11X model does not lag behind in this area and comes with no compromises. The entire model has been designed to endure tough conditions – it is truly massive and uses plenty of quality material, which is why you can rely on it. The 165 mm hydraulic chassis equipped with a spring comes with adjustable stiffness, which means that you can adapt it to your riding style. The battery made of high-quality LG cells further enhances safety. The strength of the entire scooter allows load capacity of up to 120 kg. The dual steering column with angle-adjustable handlebars resembling off-road motorcycles attached to it enhance your ability to control the scooter in all situations.

To match the extremely powerful motors, it is absolutely necessary for a rider to have truly efficient brakes available. That is why the ZERO 11X comes with state-of-the-art hydraulic brakes of Zoom brand featuring brake pads equipped with the additional fin cooler. These pads are therefore better cooled while fulfilling their difficult task of taming 3600 W motors. In addition to that, the scooter features dual front lights resembling off-road motorcycles, thanks to which you will be seen under all circumstances. The brake and rear lights contribute to better visibility, making you always properly visible even in poor lighting conditions. Moreover, there is enough space both on the handlebars and the steering columns to install any additional lighting, should you decide to buy it for your new precious scooter.

Design

This scooter destroys all prejudice against electric scooters. We do not dare say that ZERO 11X is a beautiful scooter. In the same way as we can not say that a tank or an infantry combat vehicle is beautiful. This unique machine does not have to pretend to be pretty, tough, or good. The 11X model doesn’t have to pretend anything, which is clearly evidenced by its appearance. The black-red combination is a unique signature of all ZERO models, but it matches the 11X like no other model. The massive dual steering column makes it clear that this is a serious machine likely to handle more than a person riding it dares to try out. The scooter does not hide its weight of over 50 kg, nor its extreme performance underlined by hydraulic brake discs. The scooter commands a lot of respect and attracts attention of almost everyone. It is clear that the 11X model is not for everyone. Not all people are able to tame it, which fact it shows by its rough appearance. It combines tough nature with aesthetics based on functionality, which is however thought through in every detail.

Use and practicality

Let’s begin with saying that this beast weighs 54 kg. This is not something an ordinary person likes to pick up and carry to the sixth floor, or just up a few stairs to the elevator. With the folded length of 142 cm, width exceeding 70 cm and the height of 60 cm, this scooter is definitely not intended to be carried in a car trunk or in public transport. Even should you be able to fit it in your car trunk, you must be prepared that there will be little space left to pack other things. Therefore, this model should be rather perceived as a small folding motorcycle than a scooter. However, when it comes to using it, its features and specs far outweigh the impracticality. The range of 150 km, the top speed of almost 100 km/h, the 2x2 drive and the total power of 6400 W will open to you a whole new realm of what is even possible with an electric scooter. It can handle all climbs, even in difficult terrain. Your trips outside the city will also take place in a completely different style. You will not disturb anybody by a noisy combustion engine as the powerful electric motors only produce a quiet hum with no emissions or dripping oil.

Our rating

Not everybody dares to handle this beast, not even with many kilometers driven on scooters. Indeed, this model is the most extreme of the extremes. We are fascinated by its favourable price, which may seem steep at first. However, remember that this price is within the boundaries of the price of an advanced electric bike. An electric bike can’t even compare to this scooter in what it can do and how fast and enjoyably it will get you where you want to go. Moreover, the price includes the enormous 2300 Wh battery, of which electric bikes can only dream of.

Many customers compare the 11X to the models made by Dualtron (Minimotors) and to some other extreme models, asking us to include those in our portfolio. Well, yes, the fans know that the 11X model is not the only one out there offering these crazy parameters. There are other similar models available for a similar or sometimes a little lower price.
