This is a monster-truck among scooters that blurs the line between what is an electric scooter and what is a motorcycle. It belongs to the group of extremely powerful models and it allows you to choose between a 2000 W or a 3000 W motor. It is possible to select from three batteries, based on the desired weight and, in particular, range. Fitted with the more powerful of the two motors, the scooter can reach speeds of up to 60 km/h. The maximum range reaches 65 km when using 30 Ah Li-ion battery.
This scooter allows comfortable riding in the field, being equipped with a seat that is quite rare. The Monster has huge, air-filled wheels one usually sees on 4-wheel all-terrain vehicles rather than on scooters. These wheels make it truly comfortable to ride and allow it to handle even difficult terrain. It is the scooter’s rear wheel that is driven and a chain is used to transfer the power. The comfort is provided by a chassis that has double shock absorbers both at the front and the rear.
You can configure this scooter either with a 2000 W or a 3000 W motor. The less powerful of the two reaches speeds of up to 50 km/h and the stronger one 60 km/h. Naturally, with an off-road scooter like this the motor power is important to overcome inclines. So, if you have any inclines along your route, or if you weigh more, we recommend choosing the more powerful motor. The Monster has a load capacity of up to 140 kg, which makes it a record holder among the scooters.
On the other hand, the more powerful motor reduces the range a little. Therefore, if you need maximum range you may prefer a Li-ion battery combined with the less powerful motor. The ranges based on different batteries and motors are summarized in the table at the end of this description. The longest range of 65 km provides Li-ion battery combined with a 2000 W motor. Should you opt for a more powerful 3000 W motor, expect your range to reach about 55 km.
You will be hard pressed to find a model among large city scooters that would provide more comfort or greater performance than the SXT Monster. It features huge, air-filled off-road CST tires (145/70-6) enhancing riding comfort. It is also equipped with double shock absorbers at the rear and one at the front! The seat ensures good stability and seating comfort even when riding off the road and it definitely belongs to the category of more comfortable seats. The comfort and good feeling are enhanced further by the fact that the scooter features two disc brakes. Naturally, all this comfort, suspension, large battery and brakes must weigh something, which is why riders have to tolerate greater weight reaching 47 kg or 55 kg depending on the battery. Such weight disqualifies this scooter from the category of light scooters. For instance, it is no pleasant experience having to lift and carry this scooter. It is better to have two people do it. The scooter is controlled by a gas handle similar to a motorcycle or a quad. This further amplifies its off-road genes and blurs the line between a scooter and a motorcycle.
When it comes to safety, the SXT Monster is very well equipped. The two mechanical disc brakes easily stop the scooter at high speeds this monster is capable of achieving. The off-road tires provide good traction in the field. However, you need to be more careful on asphalt. The chassis comprises a total of four shock absorbers maintaining good grip even when riding fast on a poor surface or in difficult terrain, contributing not only to comfort but, in particular, to effective braking. The scooter comes with adjustable and double lights at the front and a combined light at the rear serving both as a brake light and as turn signals. Moreover, the turn signals have been elegantly designed with a beautiful motion effect similarly to modern cars. They are conveniently controlled on the handlebars. The scooter also features a mechanical key, without which it is not possible to start the scooter up, as well as rear view mirrors that come at no extra cost and are included in the price. If you do not need them when riding in the field, it is possible to easily remove them so that you do not damage them in an accident.
There is no doubt that the SXT Monster is a unique machine. The giant off-road tires scream at everybody that it is no small city scooter but a fully fledged off-road machine. This may be a hard-working scooter, but people at SXT also made sure its design is state-of-the-art. The telescopically adjustable steering column is elegantly shaped and matches the seat rod, as well as the rear view mirrors. The modern design of the rear LED light combined with spectacular turn signals gives the scooter a sci-fi touch and is in contrast with the minimalistic handlebars. The cabling is relatively well hidden inside the scooter’s body, which in turn looks clean and elegant. The adjustable headlights go beautifully together with the two front silver shock absorbers. The red brake calipers nicely emphasize the sporty nature of this scooter as a complete package. Riding this machine attracts curiosity of all passers-by. However, the icing on the cake comes with the shaped wooden platform featuring the SXT logo, which is made of real wood and gives this scooter a truly unique look.
This is one of the heaviest scooters in our portfolio and that is why it is not possible to describe it as easily portable. So, be prepared that this scooter requires two people to carry it. Although it is possible to fold the steering column and also remove the seat, the scooter remains rather large and you will need a quite a big trunk to transport it. However, if this is not a major problem for you and if you do not plan to travel with the scooter often, it will reward you with excellent comfort in the field and on the road, decent range and performance. It can handle not only bad roads or terrain but it can also climb. If you keep it in a garage or in a cottage, you will not want to travel around otherwise than on this scooter. Whether taking a trip to the mountains to pick mushrooms, to a meadow or a field, or just to visit a grocery store or a restaurant, you will always get to your destination with a smile on your face, comfortably, quietly and without emissions. It is this silence that is cherished by many customers who do not want to disturb animals or neighbors with a noisy internal combustion engine. When riding on the SXT Monster, you will only hear the buzzing of the electric motor and the chain whistling.
Provided that you do not need to carry this scooter often and you are able to charge it comfortably in a garage or cottage, it will become your main transport means within your wider area. The comfort it offers will please you on the asphalt and field roads, or in the terrain. You will always arrive to your destination with a broad smile on your face, as this is precisely what happens when our customers return from each and every test ride. The Monster is not about adrenaline only, but also about comfort, which is highlighted by the fact that it features a seat. If you are looking for an off-road adrenaline experience without a seat, also check the ZERO 11X, ZERO 10X and INOKIM OXO models that can be also fitted with off-road tires and offer even more extreme parameters in terms of speed and range. These aforementioned models are not equipped with a chain but rather with motors located inside a wheel hub, which means one less worry for the owner (chain lubrication). They are better portable and more compact. Also, these machines come with a 2x2 drive, which means that both of their wheels are driven by a separate motor. However, we are definitely not trying to persuade you not to buy the Monster. It is one of our favorite models that excels in what it has been designed to do. Therefore, if you are looking for a comfortable scooter with a seat that has enough power, range and off-road capabilities, the SXT Monster is precisely what you need. The question then is not which model and by which manufacturer to choose, but which engine and battery to choose for your new Monster.
