Excellent price/performance value

The electric scooter offering 12-inch pneumatic tubeless tires, a range of 70 km, 500W motor, 3 speed gears including "walking mode", front hydraulic suspension, even wider handlebars, mobile app, multi-function display, two disc brakes, kick start feature protecting against pressing the throttle accidentally, cruise control, and much more. However, better specifications like these and higher performance values inevitably come with a price increase when compared to the S7500 Plus and eCruiser SC30 models.

Use and practicality

The eLander SA50 model weighs 25 kg and can carry up to 5x its weight, which means a rider weighing 120 kg. Users can fold it in 3 seconds into a size of 124 cm (length), 58 cm (height) and 63 cm (width), while the handlebars themselves are not foldable. This size suggests that taking your favorite companion with you may be a bit more challenging in certain situations. However, the kickstand integrated to the side of the deck helps you to set it down comfortably. In the middle of the handlebars there is a multi-function LCD panel giving you perfect overview of your ride thanks to displaying the speed, riding mode, battery status and light indicators, as well as cruise control. Also practical is the control method involving a rotating handle typically used in motorbikes, allowing you to hold the handlebar with all your fingers.

Power and range

The LAMAX eLander SA50 boasts a maximum output of 500W that provides a top speed of 25 km/h. With this power at your disposal, you do not have to worry about mild climbs as the scooter handles inclinations of up to 20%. It offers a range of 70 km per charge, which is more than enough for normal trips around the city. Therefore, you can certainly plan weekend trips involving longer routes. This range is provided by a 48V 15Ah Li-Ion battery with BMS protection, which can not be charged while the scooter is switched on.

Safety and comfort

Safety always comes first - a motto pursued by all brands (we would hope so). In the case of Lamax scooters, your safety is taken care of by a front LED light complemented by a rear brake light. The 3 speed gears (Walk, ECO, Drive) are useful and allow you to adapt your ride to your friends, regardless of whether they are on foot or on a bike. The two disc brakes make sure that you stop smoothly, fast, and safely. Comfort is provided by front hydraulic suspension and an easy-to-clean rubberized anti-slip deck that further dampens vibrations. It is covered by a practical anti-skid layer and nicely complements the overall design of the scooter. The 12-inch tubeless wheels are another comfort-enhancing component that allows you to leave your tire pump at home.
