The Dualtron City is equipped with a large and easy-to-read EYE display manufactured in-house by Minimotors. The display shows all important data, such as speed, current gear, daily kilometers travelled (TRIP), total kilometers travelled (ODO) and the current battery charge level. Thanks to its high brightness setting, the display stays legible even in adverse weather conditions. The acceleration lever is controlled by index finger and it can be also used to operate cruise control.

Riding safety and quality

The Dualtron City scooter boasts a high-quality front and rear suspension system offering optimal stability and comfort, especially when riding over obstacles. The rubber cartridges easily absorb uneven surfaces, making your riding experience smooth. The suspension stiffness is adjustable based on your preference by changing the wheel arm angle in three different positions. Should not even these settings satisfy your needs, you can choose from among additional four cartridges offering different elastomer stiffness. This suspension type requires zero maintenance and excels in high reliability. The rubber cover of the upper part of the removable battery, which serves as a spacious step-on deck, also contributes to improved comfort. The handlebar grips are rubberized and ergonomically shaped, which means they support rider's wrists in the most comfortable position.

The scooter also comes with front white and rear red LED lights combined with a brake light. The Dualtron City is likewise equipped with a dynamic braking system. Power and range

The Dualtron City is considered a very fast scooter in its category. It is equipped with two brushless electric motors providing a maximum peak power of 4000 W. The motors are controlled by two 30 A controllers. The scooter can handle steeper climbs at a maximum load of up to 120 kg. Under ideal weather conditions and with a fully charged battery, this scooter is capable of reaching the top speed of 70 km/h on a flat surface with a rider weighing 75 kg, making it a very fast scooter. The Dualtron City is equipped with a powerful 60 V 25 Ah lithium-ion battery of 1500 Wh capacity made of LG 21700 cells and provides an impressive range of up to 90 km on a single charge, subject to ideal conditions. It takes 4-20 hours to fully charge it, depending on your charging method. The charging period with a fully discharged battery is about 14+ hours when a standard 1.75 A charger is used. With two standard 1.75 A chargers, the charging period is cut to half, i.e. about 7+ hours, and the charging period takes about 5 hours when a fast 6.5 A charger is used.

Use and practicality

Thanks to its very decent acceleration and range, it is an ideal means of transport in the urban environment. You get a stylish, yet practical, alternative transport producing zero emissions. The powerful torque delivered by the Dualtron City provides riders with fantastic riding experience and allows them to maintain high speeds without losing performance. You will love the very comfortable chassis you will make use of on any urban surface. The scooter can be quickly folded into more compact dimensions 157 x 25.6 x 75 cm (L x W x H) in a matter of few seconds. All you have to do is to fold the handlebars, loosen the quick-release levers, lift the locking slider and then fold the steering column towards the deck. You may also quickly lower the handlebars by releasing the two quick-release levers. However, carrying and loading this scooter into a car may be more difficult for some riders due to its rather heavy weight of about 41.2 kg. Also keep in mind that the Dualtron City does not come with the official IP certification, meaning you should avoid rain or riding through water.

It is designed to ride on any urban surface and you will surely appreciate the comfort it offers. It is sufficiently fast, it is able to handle steep climbs, and thanks to two powerful brushless electric motors it can transport heavy riders. The scooter will provide you with great riding experience thanks to its spacious deck, huge 15-inch tires and a powerful double suspension system. The scooter meets the paper specs declared by the manufacturer, offering practical and modern design while being very safe to ride. You can count on it in all situations. You will not get bored by it, not even after many years of use. Riding it will always be incredible experience. However, we regret the absence of IP certification. Therefore, you should better forget riding in the rain or through puddles. Also, Minimotors should improve their Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone app.

About the brand

The Minimotors is known globally as one of the best and most reliable manufacturers of electric scooters. It was established in 1999 in Pusan (Busan) in South Korea.
