Electric scooters are designed to be easy to carry, lightweight and quickly foldable, so that anyone can take them anywhere, effortlessly. However, there are times when you are forced to leave your scooter unattended to take care of something. Perhaps you may need to go shopping while you are out on your scooter, or you may just want to leave it briefly unattended in public space. How does the fingerprint lock work?

The lock features a durable steel cable wrapped in rubber, which is attached to a housing made of aluminum alloy where the electronic locking mechanism is located. The device is very easy to use. It does not need any app as all its functions are accessible directly from the locking mechanism without the need to use a smartphone. Since it does not need any Bluetooth interface to communicate with an app, it consumes very little energy, which is why it needs to be charged very infrequently. It can unlock the device up to 3000 times on a single full charge. Even when fully discharged, you do not have to deal, replace or buy a new battery, since it is possible to charge it using the included USB charging cable.

The device is supplied with in a default state, in which you can unlock it with any fingerprint. After unlocking and configuring the settings, your finger becomes a key. The fingerprint of the first user will become an administrator and all subsequent fingerprints will require confirmation by the administrator. Thanks to that, several family members will be able to use the same lock, similarly to how they share the scooter itself. The configuration only requires a few minutes and you can store up to 20 different fingerprints, which we believe is enough for anybody.
